The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The view from the room and common areas was breathtaking, adding to the overall experience. The clean and well-equipped guest kitchen was a great addition, allowing us to prepare our own meals. The fast wifi was also a bonus, keeping us connected throughout our stay.
While the lodge offered a great view, the slope up to the hotel was difficult to navigate without a car. Additionally, nearby facilities were limited, which could be a downside for those looking for more options.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The cleanliness was excellent, with my spacious room spotless and well-maintained. The hotel facilities were top-notch, especially the common kitchen that had all the appliances I needed. The location was simply magical, with breathtaking views of the fjord right from my room. The staff, particularly Henrika and Patrick, were incredibly friendly and made me feel like I was visiting old friends. They were always helpful and laid-back, ensuring that my stay was truly enjoyable.
Couldn't stay longer.

I really enjoyed my stay at MML. The hosts were friendly and the breakfast and dinner were delicious. The room was cozy and had a kitchen for guests to use. It was perfect for me, as a solo traveler, with enough space for two people. The bed was comfortable and there were two comfy chairs where I could sit and enjoy the view. The lack of a TV in the room didn't bother me at all. The location was great for hunting the Northern Lights and I even saw them from the balcony. Getting to MML was easy, whether driving from Tromso or taking the bus.
I felt completely relaxed during my stay at MML. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a wonderful selection of food to choose from.
Nothing all good.

The value for money at this lodge was excellent, and the room I stayed in was spacious, clean, and had a breathtaking view of the mountains and sea. The location was perfect for access to the mountains, and the staff treated me like I was staying with friends rather than at a hotel.
The breakfast offerings could be improved by adding more variety to the menu.

During our Christmas stay at this lodge, we were delighted with the warm and open atmosphere created by the friendly staff. The spacious and clean rooms were a great comfort, and the good heating was much appreciated during the winter season. Additionally, we were thrilled to find that the lodge offered a variety of high-quality activities through their partnership with Lyngen Adventures, allowing us to experience the breathtaking beauty of the surrounding area. One of the highlights was getting a good view of the northern lights.
While the location of the lodge offered a great view, it was a bit challenging to reach without a car. Furthermore, the limited facilities in the vicinity meant that there were few options for nearby amenities.
